Victoria Falls are one of the most amazing waterfalls and natural wonders of the world, located in Southern Africa on Zambezi River between the countries of Zambia and Zimbabwe. Southern Africans called the Victoria Falls as Mosi-oa-Tunya in their local language. The Victoria Falls are neither the highest nor the widest but largest waterfalls. These falls are about 1,780 meters wide, making it the largest curtain of water in the World.

The Victoria Falls is actually five separate falls: Main Falls, Devil’s Cataract, Horseshoe Falls, Rainbow Falls and Armchair Falls. During rainy season, these falls form solid curtain of water, which is considered as one of the best photographed.

In 1855, Dr. Livingstone documented these enormous falls at first and named it for British Queen, Victoria. When you enter the falls area, you will find the statue of Livingstone. Hey, have a look at falls from this statue at mid-afternoon. Otherwise you will miss the colorful rainbow scene.

Just 3 kilometers from Victoria Falls town center, there is a wonderful sight over Victoria Falls that is “Flight of Angels”. When Livingstone visited the Victoria Falls at first time, he commented as “the angles in flight must gaze down at these spectacular falls”. We will too agree with him once we visit that sight. This scenic sight is famous for flight options. If you want to have the best views of falls, you can go for a ride in flight. Indeed! That gives fest to your eyes.
