Chocolate hills are situated at Bohol, Philippines whose formation is simply a mystery. History says that the hills were made when two giants threw stones and sands on each other in a flight. During this fight, finally they became friends and as a result they left this photogenic spot. Others believe that these hills are the unusual geological formations. This formation is composed of 1,268 scenic hills of uniformed shapes and sizes. These hills are covered by green grass that can be converted into brown during the dry season, hence the name. Due the uniformity in shape and size and also because decorated with chocolate color, these hills are considered as the most photographic.
Chocolate Hills are known as the popular tourist attraction of Bohol. This nature formation has been state the Country’s 3rd National Geological Monument and also included in the list of UNESCO World heritage List.
