Egyptian Museum is a true discovery place situated at Tahrir square in Cairo that exhibits the greatest collections of Egyptians antiquities that gives us a look at the wonderful mysteries on how ancient Egyptian lived their lives. This museum was built at the time of 1897 by Khedive Abbass Helmi II.

Egyptian Museum contains two floors with 107 halls. If you stepped in the ground floor you will be astonished by huge statues tell us the history of ancient Egypt and the upper floor houses small statues, jewels, Tutankhamen treasures and mummies. This museum also contains library and photography section which in turn comprises many sections. The photography section exhibits Tutankhamen’s treasures, old kingdom monuments, coins and numerous pieces of papyrus, etc. Various languages are found on the papyrus such as Latin, Greek, Arabic and Egyptian language of hieroglyphs. Another thing is about a hall that was specially made for exhibiting royal mummies of 11 kings and queens. This is a very famous museum is attracting the tourists all over the world by its stunning collections.
