American Art Museum is one of my lovable spot. American Art Museum is a home to fantastic nation’s oldest collections of American Art. American Art Museum is housed in 19th century landmark building, Washington.
American Art Museum was considered as the Countries first collections dedicated to American Art. The Museum is the part of the Smithsonian Institution and possesses a collection of more than 40,000 artifacts. The Museum contains three floors and exhibits 3,000 stunning paintings, sculptures and other works of art that are spread out over these floors.
Famous paintings include, “Throne of the Third Heaven of the Nation’s Millennium General Assembly”, and also exhibits 19th and early 20th century paintings from American artists such as “Chief’s Canoe”, a work by Belmore Browne who is the one of the reputed painters of the America, “Achelous and Hercules” by Thomas Hart Benton, a 1932 work that is “Manhattan” by Georgia O’Keeffe, “Cape Cod” by Edward Hoppers and many other paintings by Andy Warhol. I love paintings very much. When I will get chance to go Washington I will surely visit this Museum.
