The Tipu’s palace is the wonderful wooden palace which served as a summer retreat of Tipu Sultan. The palace and the fort of Tipu Sultan are must see famous spots in Bangalore. The construction of the Tipu palace was started by the Haider Ali and completed by Tipu Sultan itself.

The marvelous architecture, the layout and the overall look of the palace give you the idea of the ethnic Mughal life style. If you look at the Fort, you will be find five intricately sculpted curves. And the walls and ceilings were once covered by bright paintings… this view is considered as one of the best photographic. The fort and its relics present the history of the era in which it was built. The most admirable thing about the palace is that we can find a temple dedicated to Hindu god Ganesh inside the fort. The place also contains a museum that houses a large number of artifacts that proclaim heroism of Tipu Sultan.
