The Bahai House of Worship is famously known as Lotus Temple because of the nine-sides of central dome which are architecture-modern. Lotus Temple is located in Delhi is one of the new Bahai Houses of Worship.
The temple was built mainly with white concrete and white Greek marble. This structure has come to finish in 1986 and serve as the Mother Temple of the Indian subcontinent. It is a delicate structure surrounded by greenery and nine pools of water.
The main aim behind the construction of Lotus Temple is that of Unity, in order that we have various nations, divergent races, various souls, may gather there and among them love, peace, and unity may be appreciated.
The temple has no idols, religious pictures, or noticeable icons of religion. The people held prayer services held daily otherwise it is a quiet place of worship. The temple welcomes 150,000 visitors each year. During the festival Durga Puja, in India, several celebrations can be done.
