An Awesome view, wonderful, breathtaking, these words are really suits to describe this sight. Now, I’m going to write about a Massive Cliff, Preikestolen. Preikestolen is a Norwegian Wonder, is also known as “Rock Pulpit” or “Preacher’s Pulpit”. Let’s have a glance at this massive cliff.
Preikestolen is the pride of Stavanger’s tourist magnetisms. To view this strange wonder of solid rock you need to have vim, strength and stamina. Indeed! This massive cliff is standing at the height of 604 meters or 1982 feet, located above Lysefjorden, and opposite the Kjerag plateau in Forsand, Norway. The peak of the cliff is 25 by 25 meters square and almost flat.
Friends, to arrive Preikestolen, first of all, you need to drive up to tourist parking area, at an elevation of 900 feet, where your adventure begins…
It welcomes the visitors with the sign “Velkommen til Preikestolen”. There will be a map that shows you altitude of climber’s route to the peak. It offers us a trial from the Pulpit Rock lodge through special mountain landscapes. You will see the best sights at the peak of the Fjord that will take probably two hours, at times, gently traitorous climb. The walk to Preikestolen is very precipitous in places. During the summer month’s people pleased to take the hike to Preikestolen, making it one of the most visited natural tourist attractions in Norway.
